Parag Satpute

Parag Satpute is Group CEO & Managing Director of Greaves Cotton Limited, a 165-year-old Indian engineering company. Over more than two decades, he has held P&L responsibility for multi-billion-dollar businesses across India, Europe, North America, and Asia, and previously led transformation at Bridgestone and Sandvik — building new business models, consolidating global operations, and scaling innovation across markets. He describes his leadership philosophy as resting on three pillars: clarity in strategy and decision-making; curiosity to challenge assumptions; and courage and empathy to lead people through transformation. He has served on subsidiary boards in Europe, India, and the US, and on industry councils including ASSOCHAM, CII, and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, and is a YPO member.
